Writing term 3 with Mrs Leach— waimarama hall

WALT: understand and apply spelling rules in writing. My next step is to probably add more detail. Here is my 'waimarama hall' story.

                                                         THE WIAMARAMA HALL

My Mum, Dad, brother Liam, Jane (Jane is my Mum’s friend) and Me were of to waimarama for my Nana’s 70th on the term 2 holidays. I went in my Mum’s car with the budgie's’ cage, Jane, my Mum and me (there wasn't any speakers at the hall so Liam and my Dad brought it in there car.) in the car we listened to a CD Called ‘I live in a mad house’ which was pretty funny.

When we got to the hall my Nana and most of her friends were already there. My Dad and Me then went to the river mouth, we started making big sand slides (and also made the biggest sand slide that I've ever seen.) then we made a dam made out of two logs which failed. (Well that was pretty dumb, that it broke.)

That night when I went to bed I could here my Nana and her friends (all of her friends were there now.) dancing to the music that was playing on the speakers that my dad took in his car, I went to sleep a little while later than I normally would fall to sleep.

When I woke up and went into the dining room; only my Nana, Jane and a couple of her friends were up and in their dressing gowns making breakfast. I ate my breakfast and hurried off to help the rest of my family pack up to go home. It didn't take long to pack because of the fact that they already did most of it. When we did finish packing we said goodbye and set off to go home.

                                                                    THE END
